Should have 3 pipes from the tank to the engine bay, fuel feed line, fuel return line and the tank breather that goes upto the air intake, thats what my 3.1 has anyway and i've replaced all of them! |
why gaz? what reason. |
they were rusty!! i fitted a frontera tank and while i was under there replacing everything else thought may as well replace all the fuel lines before they leak _________________ landcruiser 80 series 4.5, 35's/33's for road, 2inch lift, discreet winch, sliders/armour, factory lockers, stainless side exit +++++ |

I'm still non the wiser, it seems they have blanked off the old fuel lines halfway down the truck and somehow fitted new ones even though the old ones are still connected
Maybe i should just drive it an not worry about it _________________ |

It locks itself (it locked the kids in the other day), it wont start unless you do it quick after getting in, the radio keeps switching to smooth fm.
And
It bled diesel yesterday just after I give skippy a warm up _________________ |

This just goes on
After I cut down the leaking blanked off pipe I have now found that the fuel tank is pressurising
I went to fill up and got ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss when I opened the filler cap.
My thoughts are the sudden warm weather caused the pipe to fail under pressure so thats not the problem.
I dont think there is a breather on it _________________ |
