did anyone watch look north tonight 9.7.08 there was a man on telling us that he was running is truck ( looked liked a mitsi )
on 10ltres of desiel to 20ltres of veg oil straight off the supermarket shelf, will our troopers run on that or will it mess the fuel system up. Question

50/50 is the most realy going by what people have writen on hear. if you use that much veg you will clog the pump up. you need to thin it with the diesel or somthing elce . when its cold you wont start the motor as veg is too thick in the cold. marky moan is the one to ask on hear. i think he has run veg and bio so he could give you an idear mate

thanks flowerman i also heard them say that you can have 2,500 ltrs of veg oil then you'll have to pay tax,
who the bleep in the right mind is going to admit how much they've had hey.

I've run my 3.0 for a long while on 50/50 DERV/veggie with no problems, except the veggie is getting to be nearly the same price as DERV now! The best off-the-shelf veggie is rape seed oil because it's cheaper and is also the lightest oil which doesn't wax in our winter temeratures. I only do 50/50 instead of 100% veggie out of fear! I've driven on 100% and it drives fine, starts well and everything, so I suspect 100% veggie would be OK too.
