I see no fittings to take a load cover or parcel shelf on my 30.0 LWB citation. Were they ever fitted from new, are there any avaialble as aftermarket parts, or any ideas for making one? |

I made one for the cherokee we had (well I say we, the wife did the sewing) a length of canvas type material, some elastic, a couple of canes for support in sewn in sleeves and screwed a few eyes to the panels. Worked OK if not the neatest. _________________ Phil

I made one out of MDF covered in speaker carpet, it has three sections with hinges so it folds up is and supported on legs but it wasnt good for getting big things in the back then I found a roller blind type on eebuygum that I got for a very good price as it only came with one hook to attach it.
The dealers wanted £30 for each bracket to hold it in place so I just made the brackets to hold the part that it rolls up into next to the back seats and made another hook out of wood by copying the design of the one I had, was very proud of myself when it was finished and think I did quite a good job even if I do say so myself.
When I was trying to find the brackets and hooks I asked a few breakers on eebuygum and one said he had the full blind and fittings but wouldn't just sell me the fittings so it might be worth a try if you are after one. |

Ive got the lot and not using them, full blind and brackets the two for mounting the blind in and to where they hook on to. Not sure if selling them yet! But if I dont I can take some pics and send through so they could be made! Away on business at the mo so wont be back home till the weekend. |
