The locks are on lock and to release them the arrow points up.I have tried pushing them up but they are very stiff and I dont want to break them.
Do they require a lot of force or should they go up easily.
Any ideas?

Do you mean the switch to turn the child lock off? mine move quite easily.

Give them a spray with a penatrating fluid, its hot and dry over there so they may be sticking.
