Ive got several questions so this post may be a bit long winded but here go's
Im planning a trip for early november for four days, 2 days laning and the 1st and last traveling, i live in suffolk and want to find a nice area with good views and im thinking of yorkshire? i drive a mk 2 swb with 2 inch lift, 31 inch tyres and 12000 lb winch, i want some chalanging lanes but nothing too hard as its my day to day motor and il be a long way from home, Would yorkshire be a good choice or can anyone recomend other areas?

Secondly are there any weak points on the trooper i need to look out for or strengthen for the tougher stuff and what spares if any would you guys carry?

Thirdly would anyone like to join us on said trip?

Idea  Bring your trip forward a couple of weeks and join the rest of the gang laning on the 22oct
you will get to do some great lanes and you will find the capabilities of you and your truck,
It turns out I'm not capable of standing up on mud Laughing

where are you all going and on what dates, the reason i was waiting untill november was to give me a chance to buy some new rubber and save some pennys for the trip.

That sounds very tempting, at the moment im running runway AT's but im going to get some kingpin mud trackers i think i would be more capable with those for a trip like that, so leaving on the 22nd when will you be finishing?

There is no set leaving date as its also half term for the kids, but most will be going home on the sunday.
The lanes I mentioned there is just a selection, you could easily fill 3 days  Smile

I will be going cross country to junction 13 and straight up the M1 to the A610, junction 26. Very Happy
You will be OK on A/T tyres. I went up Hollinsclough on Nexen A/T Roadians and standard suspension.
