I have spoken to Isuzu and Haynes and the answer was the same: Apparently, the Trooper did not sell in sufficient quantities to justify an owners' workshop manual and they have no plans to publish one in the near future.

You can, however, get hold of the Importers Manual from Isuzu but at £500 a throw, I doubt there will be many private takers!

I own a 2.8TD and have had the same problems.
Isuzu told me that the workshop manual for my vehicle came in 12 volumes at £90.00 per volume.
Haynes don't do one.
I ended up buying an American workshop manual from Milners.
It covers several models although not mine specifically, but is quite useful and better than nothing.
I could not even get a handbook for mine until a kind chap on this site sent me a photocopy.

The Vauxhall Monterey is almost identical so maybe there's a chance through those channels. You might be lucky by trying http://www.carmanuals.btinternet.co.uk/
