All - I'm a new memeber;

My girlfriend and I have just bought a 1992 2.8TDI J Reg trooper which I guess is an old shape Mark1 with 96K on the clock. She's pretty tired but it's just to be used for weekend work.   Ithrough a new clutch kit in it last weekend (not a job I want to repeat) and am half way putting a new timing belt and tensioner on.   I was planning on chaning the front engine oil seal but this looks like a serious job.

Whilst I've been doing this my GF has been rubbinng down the chassis and wax oiling it (it is generally soild all over but need one patch of welding). On the whole the body work is ok and we'll do a bit of work so it doesn't get any worse.  However  the passenger wing has about had it.  I have thought about repairing it but thought either a new wing with a re-spray may be easier or if I was looking a original wing without rust.

Has anyone out there in the notts area got a new or used wing I could buy. Conversely I've been looking at a few sites to look at buying an aftermarket wing.

All - I've had real difficulty in obtaining a mark 1 passenger side wing.  I thought I'd cracked it with nicedeals.co.uk. The list the part and deliver if for around 45 quit. Ace.

Unfortunately I got mail from them today saying there stockists is out.  Anyone got any other sources where I can get hold of an after market wing? Cheers
