Hi

I am going to waxoyl my M reg Trooper chassis with waxoyl black
Is it OK to do the brake pipes or will it be a prolem at the next MOT?
is it best to mask these off?

Also do I need to keep it off anything else?

Regards
Flatlander

as per mot... tested as presented i advise brake pipes like this as not allowed to disturb any anti-corrosive coating..
but' a wee word to the wise..remember a trooper is  heavy so if trying to hide anything it's not just your life your

My brake pipes are fine I am not trying to hide anything blimey my wife drive the truck as well

It would be a bit of a bind to mask off the pipes when spraying the waxoyl on
just trying to get an opinion if it needs to be done?

just spray the lot. MOT testers may not be allowed to scrape back the coating but most of the ones I know round here do just to check for corrosion so it makes no difference whether the metal pipes are coated or not. when I waxoil I try not to get too much on the rubber components  if the pipes are steel then it helps to protect them
