Has anyone out there had any experience of driving a Mazda with EBA ( Electronic brake assist ).

If so, what was the pedal like ?

The reason I ask, is that we have a 60 plate Mazda 5, and when I drove it home for the first time I was ready to take it back to the dealers.
The harder you brake, the softer the pedal becomes, but the brakes are spot on. It just goes against all natural instincts, and the biting point is different every time.
According to the manual this is normal  Shocked

To say the brakes are good is an understatement, but there is absolutely no feedback from the pedal, and it's wierd. I can also sit at a set of lights, and push the pedal all the way to the floor, which is a whole new mindset  Shocked .

I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this, or if there's something not quite right with mine  Confused

At least airbrakes offer more resistance the harder you push.
