Hi, sorry I can't offer any advice, but I'll be watching this thread as I've got to change mine next week. I've just found my front wheel bearings are jiggered so I'll change the pads at the same time. Anyone changed front wheel bearings on a mk2 with auto free wheeling hubs ?
I have a CD owners manual, but it only covers 1999 onwards, with either manual hubs or shift on the fly system. It looks like the bearing nut needs a special socket with lugs to remove it. Any help wold be appreciated.
Cheers, Doug

I've done my pads now - easier than any other car i've done!! Didn't bother with the discs in the end as mine were ok. Don't know about wheel bearings so can't help you there!!

cheers
