|
|
Has anybody had any experience with the courtesy light sensor on the driver's door? Mine's a 1992 imported 3.1TD LWB. All the other doors operate the courtesy light correctly except for the driver's one. Can't see any obvious push switch near the hinges.
Any suggestions? _________________ Patrick Buckland

On mine there is a small rectangular switch on the door jamb near the lock catch. |

Oh yes, that'll be the blatantly obvious switch that even a blind monkey should have seen then, isn't it...
Thanks!
Investigated at the weekend, and the 'fault' was caused by a previous owner deliberately taping up the electrical contact with insulating tape. Presumably they didn't like the "Keys left in beeper" or something. Weird to sacrifice the internal light for this though - why not just cut the wire on the beeper? _________________ Patrick Buckland
