Im thinking about starting to plan a holiday of laning in france but have no idea where to start.
I wouldnt know where to head for either, want some good views and some history ie Normandy or something interesting like that.
Did think about the Alps but the word alone scares me lol.
Has anybody had any experience of laning in france ie where to go or not to go and anything important i need to think about.

Dont really want to pay ££££ for a guided tour either they look very expensive.
