Just got my 99 v reg troop back from the dealer and its peeing out oil. What i need to know is when they replace the turbo do they disconect the small oil pipe that drops from the back of the turbo to the block because thats where its coming from infact the sectin the turbos bolted to looks new aswell |

Yeah i figured they would so rang them its back in in the morning if she'll get there grrrrr belive me its left a river of oil on my brickweave god damn it its that bad |

Hideous took the car back to the dealer for them to do the repair and they have told me one of the metal pipes is cracked gonna sting me up £150 for the part but no labour. Something tells me i should have bought the part and fitted it myself would have cost far less grrrr |

To be fair, its just unfortunate that disturbing the pipe has caused it to crack. At least the garage has given you goodwill in that they will change it FOC.
Going by the usual Isuzu prices that sounds about right for a metal pipe. I dought you would have got it any where else exept a scrappers but we share your frustrations. _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |
