Hi
I have recently found this forum and I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me some advice. I have a LWB trooper, 2000 X plate and it has done 95.000 miles. It has developed a problem with starting and cutting out when driving. I have been told today that the throttle body needs replacing and there is an intermittent problem with the fuel pump. Garage has advised scrapping it as its not worth fixing as the parts are so expensive and breakers dont seem to have many isuzus.
I am totally gutted as I love this car and it has never let me down before. Just wanted the opinion of others as to whether it is worth trying to source parts from breakers yards and fix it up or just scrap it. I cant afford to pay for new parts but I really dont want to give up on the car if its worth fixing.

Thanks
Sally

Hi there Sally

First off can you tell us what engine you have. I assume is a 3.0 diesel from your initial symptoms, but without further info like that we cannot really help you.
