Both nice and i have always had a soft spot for the Mondeo
I had an old 96 18TD and have driven a couple of ST24's (in my opinion the early ones pulled better)
Never driven an St Tdci or for that matter an St 220.

I wanted the ST 220 but doing 75 miles a day for work the fuel bill would have been too much
The Tdci pulls really well mid range and handles well, I drive it quite hard and still gives 45mpg
