|

After removing and blanking off the EGR last week I decided to rip out all the unnecessary vac lines from the old SOTF and EGR, I used Rhanagars post as a reference, which proved very useful.
http://www.itocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19621
I never had the quick warm up system on mine which made it easier and I didn't have the number six vac line, which I guess is tied to the quick warm up.
How it looks now
Alternator blanked
Pipe from inter cooler to fuel pump
All the junk that came out
A well spent hour and my brakes are keener now, so the vac pipes must have been perishing somewhere. |

Nice. I noticed you used gasket sealant. If you look at the EGR's in your picture you can see they are bolted to a little manifold. Take them off the manifold and there is a metal gasket which is a perfect fit to go between the blanking plate and the inlet openings. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

I've used the original gaskets and sealed both sides, belt and braces and the alternator blank means I have an easy vac supply for the next time I flush my brake fluid without having to split an equal tee in
