|
|
I bought 4 compomotive alloys and tyres off eebuygum. I also bought center caps. The wheel itself can be seen at http://www.rwfts.com/wheel1.jpg
Trouble is that the caps I bought seem to be too big. The diameter of the cap is more than the diameter of the inset bit that I've marked "A". I haven't tried fitting them but can't help but think that the plastic will crack as I fit the studs.
I am not sure if I need new center caps, can use these ones or if I don't need to use them at all. All advice gratefully received.
best regards

The cenre caps look to be from a set of original steel wheels - I know my alloys use a different centre cap to my steel originals... _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Thanks for the response. I assume wheels will go on ok without centre caps in place. I can live without them until I find a proper set. Probably give compomotive an email and send them the photo to see if they'll recommend or stock a center cap.
Many thanks.

I decided to leave the wheels without center caps as they look pretty good and I like to see the Auto Locking Hub on the front wheels sticking out.
I did call compomotive, but they said that they had discontinued the center caps for that wheel size. There's a set for sale on eebuygum now, but they are also the wrong size.
