I had injectors replaced in August 2009 and again in November 2010 but now the dreaded oil level is rising yet again. Any advice very welcome especially a telephone no for Isuzu because so far I have just been given a run around
Hoping someone can help  Many thanks to all who read

If you bought them in 2010 i believe they have a 3 yr guarantee but if they were done on recall/goodwill they will only consider swapping them if they are 2 years/10.000 miles or less. I couldn't swear to this, The 3.0 boys will be along later to help Wink

Sounds like similar story to mine. Its 7 or 8 times for me. Fitted new genuine seals every time and did the sleeve seals. Time before last  I changed the sleeves, and oil level increased within 200 miles.  Swapped out an injector, and touch wood, it has been ok for 1200 miles now. So might have been a leaking injector. Trooperdan is good for used ones.

Thanks to all for the replies. Can I trouble you further and ask  Does the coding in need to be done by main agent or could my local garage sort that.  My local garage are very good and a damn sight cheaper than main agents.  Thanks again for your indulgence

If they are different grades they will need to be coded in with a Tech 2

Do you think it justifies paying out that money plus labour on a 4x4 that may not be worth much more than its repair value for such limited warrranty?

You have to look at what kind of truck you can buy for £1000? against how good the one you own would be after spending the money.
