Turned out the original temp switches were duff  Rolling Eyes
Soooo  ranges are now 88/83 and 92/87

88/83 seems perfect for low range and fan normally flips on now and again after stopping and no naturel air flow through rad.
My rad is definitely suspect and I'm currently sourcing  a replacement.
Also bare in mind I fitted mine into the bottom hose  Wink

I've been running without a viscous fan and no electric fan for quite some time now, I've not seen the temp gauge move over half way mark, but the top hose and the rad have been quite hot to touch!

I searched long and hard for a fan that will fit and do the cooling job required and found the range rover p38 twin fan ideal for the job! I bought one, but since had a change of heart and added an front mount intercooler, so this wont fit!

If anyone wants it PM me, I've done some brackets too!
