After making enquiries on the Isuzu site...
Thank you for your enquiry.
As your Trooper is not a UK model and has therefore been imported at some point into the U.K., we have had to contact the manufacturer in order to ascertain which safety recalls are outstanding, which are as follows:
· IZ17 – Fuel injectors
· W0076 – Throttle Position Sensor Wiring
· W0026 – Ceramic Heater
What you will need to do is to contact your local Isuzu dealer in order to arrange for the above safety recalls to be carried out at your earliest convenience. Please use our dealer locator via the following web link: www.isuzu.co.uk |

I've asked the same question about mine tonight. Interesting to see what they come up with. |

They've been in touch twice today. Got to supply them with various details as the vehicle isn't on their system.
Can't fault their speed of response and attention to detail though.
For future reference, if anyone needs to contact them:

Checked up in the reacalls on my "new" Isuzu Trooper
Response within the hour! Very impressed - when I was dealing wiht the Mitsubishi dealership it was a nightmare of pushing and shoving and repeated calls.
Here is the email. I'll get the thottle position one done now.
I can confirm that the following has been carried out:
Recall - Injector check campaign. 03/2007 at 26k miles
Recall - Ceramic Heater campaign 01/2010 at 55k miles
Recall - Injector change x4 01/2010 at 55k miles
There is one outstanding campaign for the Throttle position sensor.
Please book your vehicle into a franchised Isuzu dealer and ask for W0076 TPS harness to be completed.
This work will be carried out free of charge. |
