I recently bought an insignia 02 auto to pull a horse trailer.  It drove fantastically when we bought it and drove it home.  The first time I towed with it, it overheated going up a hill.  I have had a flow test done on the radiator and had a new thermostat.  Driving around it was fine but when I towed it overheated again.  Now it has taken to randomly overheating when I go up a long hill, nightmare as I live 600ft above sea level.  It doesn't do it all the time, just now and then.  It has been suggested that I have more cores put in the radiator.  Do you think this would help.  I love the truck but its no good to me if I cant tow with it.  Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I would start by flushing the coolant system with water until clear and change the radiator and thermostat. Then refilling with the correct coolant (pink I believe).
