Got to get the prop shaft in to have the center UJ changed.

Just wondering if I could get away with droping it off at the garage and driving home (1/2 an hour) in 4wd, as with no propshaft no wind up.

But I have auto locking hubs so that could be tricky, has anyone tried this?

Also would there be any transmition oil los in doing this?

Not a good idea as the front of the rear propshaft is a sliding fit into the box so you'd have an open back end meaning you'd lose loads of oil first hill you come to.
