I have just had a test drive in a 93 Trooper Citation 3.1TD 5 door 7 seater.
It runs/drives just fine and with 117,000 miles under it's belt probably has years left in it. Problem is I am partly disabled and can ill afford to buy a vehicle that could end up a liability. This one has dealer stamps til 85,000 miles and looks mint, Is there anything I should check before handing over the cash (just over £4,000).
Any advice would be most appreciated

Check for any obvious corrosion, dents, signs of abuse, wear on pedal rubbers, and best of all, invest in an RAC or AA check. I cant remember the cost of these checks but well worth it to stop you getting lumbered with a lemon.

Remember: a deal will always make his cars look "mint" but sometimes nasties can lurk within!

I have heard nothing but praise for petrol engined models but unfortunately the diesel engines are not well known for their reliability and I would be a bit wary.
