Hi siweb
Can't see G80 in vin. no. so lookes like I've dipped. I thought a Citation LS would have one. Thanks for the advice.

It'll be on a plate on the bulkhead in the engine bay not in the actual vin number. Other way to check is to jack both rear wheels up rotate one wheel and if the other rotates the same direction you have an LSD if it rotates in the opposite direction you don't. My 91 Citation does.

Just checked under the bonnet, and on a sticker on the bulkhead is a list of options. It says " G 60 / G 80 etc etc. So thats L.S. Diff. for me then. Thanks again for the help. Laughing

Rememebr then if you change the rear axle oil that you need either special LSD oil or an additive with normal EP90. I got mine from my local Isuzu/Subaru dealer, they filled a bottle for me from the barrel they use on Imprezas.

Hi Phil ( sorry for calling you Philp ) I will make shure I use l.s.d oil. Am I right that the diff is in the rear axle so I just drain the whole axle as normal, just use the right oil to fill up with !
Rob.

Yep, on my MK 1 theres a drain plug in the front of the diff I think from memory and the fill/level plug in the rear cover. Just drain it out, refit the drain plug and fill through the other hole. I use a 500cc oil syringe to do this as the oil was in a normal bottle but you may find it in bottles with an atached probe/nozzle/spouty thing. Be warned, it stinks far worse than normal ep90, especially when its old!
