Hi bit new to this site but it seems very usefull. Has anyone heard of a rear diff going on the troopers, I've got a 94 3.1 duty and the rear diff is a bit sstiff when the wheels are off the ground. Also noticed that the dif seemed a bit hot after just a 15min journey. Any ideas????? |

Might be worth a change as mine didn't when I got it.
Don't know if this could cause the stiffness, but a normal EP oil can cause corrosion of the clutch plates.
Only 10 minuets to change, worth doing if you are not sure. |

Mine used to grab and let go with a bang when pulling away and turning at the same time (like roundabouts).
After changing the oil it's taken a year/35.000 miles to stop doing it! |
