Crying or Very sad

I have a 1988 Trooper with a clutch that suddenly stopped working. The clutch was put in approximately 1.5 yrs ago. I think it is the cable but I was wondering if it could be a fluid problem. Do these trucks use clutch fluid? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Sean

The clutch is Hydraulically operated, and i would suspect that the slave cylinder is leaking, this is the most usual. Not a major job to fit a new one.

As Dave said the clutch is hydraulic so it could be the slave or the master
cylinder. When I fitted anew clutch to my Mk1 it did the same but it
was the master cylinder that leaked. It is an easy job to fit new seals to it
(the seals from the newer kits fit, there are some left over as the newer
ones have double seals.) the cylinder is up under the dash at the passenger side.
Hope this helps.
