cheers for reply.it must be summat to do whith tank cos there r 2 pipes going to it.its about the same size as a small can of pop. |

it is tha first fuel filter , the mk1 had them on the last year 1990 on. |

don t know it looks like a washer motor 2 pipes go to tank. other pipe looks like a breather |

aint got a camera sorry.there are no wires just 3 pipes,2 go to top of tank other about 2"long i presume is a breather sory abit vague |

I think its part of the emmissions control stuff to catch vapours coming from the tank. On later troopers there are a couple of breather pipes on the top of the tank (mine had been blocked off) and I think they should go to a setup like that. _________________ Phil
