Welcome to the site
All i can think of is regular servicing and never use 4wd on the road.
I thought i better get that in early or your next thread would be "strange banging and scraping noise" _________________ |

Funny you should mention that Marky!!!
I "DID" try 4WD and this funny banging noise .... hehehe
Love the vehicle and am not quite stoopid enough to try the 4wd on the road! (Honest! .......) _________________ Everything is possible, you just need the right amount of alcohol to succeed! |

The only times i have ever needed 4wd when towing are when i have been off road. Generally with the low ratio of 1st gear i can always pull away. Having said that there are very few hills in Suffolk! I suspect that in some situations it may be necessary to engage low box and 4wd. But would have to look at the manual to see if low to high range can be done on the move. _________________ Isuzu Trooper SWB 3.0DT Commercial |

Have had my 3.2 petrol for 7 years, theres nothing to worry about, in that time its had; radiator, water pump, cambelt, brake pads, tyres, plugs, air filter, rear window regulator... thats it, change the oil every 5000miles to avoid noisy tappets, always use fully synthetic, halfords cheap stuff is fine.
Don't *beep* with it and it will never go wrong, makes the diesels look a bit pointless really, even the mpg isn't far behind |
