Hi there, can anyone tell me where exactly the speed sensor is located on the gear box on a 1994 Monty 3.2ltd. Cant see it for probably looking at it..lol.  Confused

IF U LOOK UNDER UR GEARBOX  TOWARDS THE END B4 TRANSFUR BOX ,IF AUTO
DRIVERS SIDE THERE IS A MODULE THAT STICKS OUT USEALY BROWN OR CREAM DEPENDING ON THE YEAR

thnx a alot m8, will go and get the torch and have another look..I found a module right at the back end of the transer box just before the start of the prop shaft and tried taking that off and oil started to drip out so had second thoughts!! Was this the right one??  cheers again!  Smile

Correct me if i'm wrong but it should be at the back of the transfer box to get a speed reading, if its before then you would get a false reading in low range  Question

No disrespect to The Quiet One but I think you could be right as I ve had another look and this is the only module that fits the description and sits right at the back of the transfer box.  Smile

He wont take any offence Wink  but he does have the trooper bible and a scanner, so he could have a read and post the results as there is a few sensors on there.

The Quiet ones old gearbox is in my back garden, i dont know if its still in it though its dark, and i dont know if he wants to sell it if it is there  Smile
