Got a problem on my Dad's 96 3.1 Bighorn.

In essence the front drivers side speaker doesn't work, having stopped a couple of weeks back.  Taking the speaker out of the drivers door and connecting it to passenger door works fine, taking the working passenger one and putting it in the drivers door and it fails.

Two theories, a knackered wire feed, or a knackered head unit.  As we had another head unit we put that in and it still didn't work.  Thus, knackered feed.

Anyway, on to the question.  Anyone know how this feed routes to the door speaker?  I'm wondering if there are any block connectors on the way etc that could have come loose, any wiring colour changes etc etc?

Any advice appreciated.

Don't know how to answer your question but you have given me an idea!

My passenger side speaker has stopped working and thinking changing it but think I will try swapping it accros and see if it works

The weak point for the cable routing is in the rubber gaiter between the front edge of the door and the point where it enters the bodywork.
