I have had a look and it looks easy to do,
But, what size do i get? how cheap?(very cheap) and where would i put it as space is at a premium  Question
Also does longer pipes cause turbo lag ?
I'm a first timer with intercoolers  Embarassed

As I understand it there will be a bit of lag.

I would say mount it infront of the rad, as there is alot of space in there, and it will get the most cold air.

I would have thought one with both pipes at one end would be best, with both on the off side.

I think you will have to increase your fueling to get the most out of it though.

Lag will be insignificant because the diesel is not controlled with a throttle.

Yes, put it in front of the rad and fit the biggest one you can get hold of.

I don't know if it's fitted with intake temp fuel compensation (is there an inlet air temp sensor?), if not you'll want to wind the fuel up a bit to get the benefit.

No intake sensors or other gadgets, thank god!! Plan carefully if you go for FMIC because if you then want to fit a winch it'll be in that area.
