This is one of those "should be dead simple" jobs, but I just can't work one bit out.
I'm putting a new head unit in my 3.0DT, and there are two slots. Obvoiusly the unit goes in the top one, I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get the cubby hole out of the bottom slot so I can get to the back of the head unit. _________________

There are a load of screws where the centre console fits to the gear surround - I take it you don't just undo thos - pull it forward? kind of thing _________________ 3.0TD LWB Citation |

I have had the gear surround off recently and it is not connected to the rest of the dash... I reckon it will involve an afternoon of fiddly screws, clips and swearing
p.s. Matski... it was last weekend I tried - it did take some doing tho! _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

You have to remove the full centre facia via 2 screws above the radio (have to remove radio 1st) then pull it forward and slightly down. then you can get to the cubby hole via the 2 screws that hold it in _________________
