I have a 1996 Vauxhall Monterey 3.2 V6 and the speedometer has stopped working. Can anyone tell me if this model has a cable or
an electric sender (I think that is what it is called) driving the Speedo?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Have a 93 trooper TD and on that it is an electronic speedo and I had a problem with the rev counter intermittently working which was a dry solder joint. You may have a similar problem.

Speedo not working possibly due to inopperative or loosely connected vehicle speed sensor located on end of transmission housing nearest prop.
