i own a 95 lwb 3.1 duty, can anyone tell me why when i turn the heat up on the heater the engine revs increase  |

My 95 3.1TD has an additional connection on the thermostat housing which when disconnected stops this happening, its been disconnected for nearly a year and no probs.
