I have decided to start doing my own basic servicing. So far I have located the oil and air filters. Where is the fuel filter hiding? |

On my 3.1, as you stand at the front looking at the engine, its on the right hand side, just to the left of the battery, next to the power steering reservoir

2 bolts , 2 pipes and a wire , I always fill the new filter up with diesel on the bench before refitting |

Ahhh! I was envisaging trying to unscrew the filter from under the housing. Instead the whole lot gets detached and sorted on the bench. Thanks for that. |
