I've had a router problem for a couple of days and now solved it but the info might be helpful to others in the future when they upgrade their computers.

Bought my daughter a new laptop for her birthday and it's the 1st Vista machine in the house. It wouldn't connect to my wireless modem / router at all, it could see it but just kept throwing a wobbly and saying the security key didn't match. It did match because I had put it in Twisted Evil

Solution was a firmware update for the router because Vista uses the latest version of wireless security and isn't backwards compatible with older versions or some such nonsense computer language Confused
