Bought an alternator from Milners on 16th December 06 and it's lasted 14 months . Phoned Milners this morning and there answer was " sorry it's out of warranty " , which it is , but by 8 weeks, come on , the lady I spoke to couldn't care less , the 1st alternator lasts 10 years and there's 1 year , I've had springs break after 6 months , prop shafts out of balance , rubber hoses perish in 2 years and now this , so yes Milners are cheap and they carry a lot of stock but don't expect it to last very long , it's the last cheap part I'll be fitting to my truck |

Please dont say that about the Alt from Millners.
I bought a new Alt from Milner and had a full belt change about 2 months before, the garage put the new alt on and it howled, the belt was slipping badly, I contacted millner about Alt, they were not helpful at all, to cut along story short the garage put another belt on, no idea what size, just whatever fitted.
now my brakes dont work well because of lack of pressure, to be honest I would stay well away from a Milner Alt.
From a Company I rated highly... not any more _________________ Better to have driven and ditched, than never to have driven at all. |

If the vac pump came with the alt it should work.
You need to push them for a replacement or refund. Tell them it's not fit for purpose and your breaks aren't working. _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs
