thats the 12mm dial probe hole. it doesnt have a seal other than the threads. Your pump rear seals probably want doing. difficult to tell the other side off the computer mind you

If it's the bleed, it's supposed to have a copper washer for sealing Wink

If you've 4 pipes coming out of the top of the pump in a circle, there's a bolt in the middle. This is the bleed for the pump (it only works with the ignition in position 2 though due to the fuel stop soliniod in the pump. There should be a copper washer behind this screw, but if not, make sure it's tight - there shouldn't be diesel leaking out of it either way Wink

ok i think, the pump on mine has the pipes coming out of the back of it in a curcle and in the centre is a nut??? off set to that is a screw but it is the seal between the nut and and fuel pump housing that is leaking ..........i think anyway coz it is difficalt to see and to get anything to come out of it you have to drive for 5 mins or so. not realy a leak but more of a weep. and thats just me Laughing

For a single nut, it's worth knocking next door and asking for a spanner, what comes around and all that...

hi all, today i have made no progress , well i say no progress but i have found that between 5 neighbours and me ,non of us has the right size socket to get on this bolt   arrrrrrrrr . its two bolts in one. in the centre of the large bolt there is a smaller one which is 12mm .the larger one is more than 22mm but not as large as 26mm. i cant get an open ended spanner near it to find out what size it is and the same story with a meshuring gage. do you know how big the biggest nut is? no probs if you dont , i will buy 23,24,25 mm . one of them will fit! this is all to see if the bolt is loose but i have to know if it is before spending money i may not need to.  its all very frustrating Evil or Very Mad  i feel like grinding it out (obviously in a calmer state i wouldnt consider this as an option Shocked  Very Happy )
