Is it still using water?
Sounds like unburn fuel, and changing to mineral diesel isn't going to cure that. Is the garage sure it was a head gasket and not a cracked head? _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

i know what you saying bout head gasket i thought that
but it was sent away ,skimmed tested and sent back
before it went in
it over heated once, used water and was bubbles in header tank and a trail off steam like one of fred dibnahs finest out the back
i have checked oil and water just and they fine
the smoke is there its like grey/white
when driving /idle its there
then when you boot it it goes |

That's over fulling then buy the sound of it. They didn't take the injector pump off did they when they did the head? and put it back with the timing wrong?
Sounds like a fuel issue though - too much fuel going through when the engine is running slow, and when you put your foot down, the engine is using the excess. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

Can't see why they would, but depends?
If the car didn't do it, and now it does... Take it back to the garage and tear them a new @$sehole and get them to fix it for free, if not threaten trading standards (and go through with it). Does the smoke coming out of the back STINK of diesel... haha go on get a face full and thick white clouds?? _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :
