went to see diesal veg company to day about conversion 1250.00 to do my 3.0 trooper
1200.00 for van carnt decide if it will pay might just mix 50/50 in the van trooper only really gets used weekends  i was impressed with the set up though.     mates going to do his hilux they do a diy kit half the price bit like rocket science to me though

Its  easy  to  do,  did  my Fronty years  ago  and  I bought  all  the kit  from  them.  their also  very  helpful Wink

i wouldnt bother with the cost of veg the same as diesel, you arent saving anything

Veg oil still around 90p a litre when bought in 15Ltr drums at Makro - thats still 40p a litre cheaper!

Its still about £17.50 for a 20L drum at makro and Bookers  Smile so mixed 50/50 works out about 90p a gallon cheaper.

Makro in Irlam and Bookers in Walkden, I got one from Bookers last thursday, its branded KTC or simlar and its a 20L plastic drum in a cardboard box.

im getting the 1litre happy shopper bottles, working out at 83 p/litre, easier to pour in the tank  Wink ,

I use a splash of petrol as a rinsing agent and get about 1/2 litre extra from 15 bottles  Laughing

gas central heating,, unless the price goes thru the roof the maybe, unblock the fireplace clean the chimney and get a wood burner Very Happy
