Just to bring this thread up to date, what are you guys currently paying at makro/booker etc.

Tesco rape oil is £3.49 for 3 litres so £1.17/litre  Shocked

With a bit of fag packet maths, youd only save about £4 per tank at 50/50, not worth it.

have to agree with you there mate, not worth it at all. run mine on 100% derv all the time. it would only be worth it when there is a fuel panic buy and you cant get derv for love nor money Very Happy

Aldi, Asda etc all very similar prices, about the £1.15 mark.  Tesco are selling 15litres which works out about £1 a litre but it doesnt look to be pure rape seed oil.

Does anyone buy SVO from restaurants/take away?  Might be able to source some through a friend, failing that itll be Booker/Makro < how much are they doing it for just now?

Rich

I bought veg oil from Asda this evening
15L KTC cardboard/plastic boxes

£14.61 each, so a smidge under a quid a litre

Cheapest diesel around here is 120.9, but my BigHorn likes a bit of oil, so its worth the effort
