|
Ive created this thread to get away from the other where a novice was asking simple advice and it turned into another squabble
My Advice was sound and its the advice any instructor would give to Novices, now to the point.
Can you share your Handy tips for off roading with the pros and cons _________________ |

Make sure every item within the car is secured properly stow all loose items in a secure box and then secure that
nothing worse than hitting a bump and seeing the phone fly out the window
cheers

Adding to that, closing the window will stop said phone going on a trip and also stop the dash and yourself getting covered in mud,,,,, You reading this Rabbitt _________________ |

And make sure it is secure - nothing going to put a downer on the day like a hit in the head with a highlift. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

OUCH
Talking about securing stuff, you have to think roll over and what you have in the boot, I wouldnt like to be tumbling down a hill with a can of fuel and a toolbox joining me up front. _________________ |

I agree the advice about not trying it was sound, and an instructor would no doubt agree _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

If you do have dogs in the vehicle(not playdays) ...
DO NOT tether them......
Try to train them to stay in their own bit,Without a dog guard, make sure if you have a mishap, they have the same outlets as you....
(Hope this isnt off thread ) _________________ Khotso........... |

Also, no such thing as tips not for novices
All tips for offroading should be for everyone. You don't become an expert just because you'll rolled a vehicle _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

I beg to differ, no way should a novice ever read something Advanced then go out and do it, fair enough with securing your load but thats not exactly advanced is it _________________ |
