I am sharing an experience with you and also wondered whether anyone else has experienced the same problem.
I have kust driven 1000miles down to Austria and while cruising
down the autobahn had ppower fall away and aloud hissing noise from under the bonnet.
On inspection and a trouser change I discovered the intake hose after the intercooler had blown off.
On further inspection and 1 mile down the road, I found the braket to the intercooler cracked on one lug and the bolt from the throttle (holdin gthe other part of the bracket missing.
This had led to the pipe being forced off by the pressure.
Cable ties and jubilee clips save my journey.
Although I am now in need off the bolts that hold the throttle on and the gasket between the elbow and throttle body.
And an intercooler bracket, can anyone recommen d a source (that want break the bank.)

Has anyone else had antthing like this happen to them?
Intercooler brackt failure ? from vibration of the diesel 4 cyc engine?
