Just wondering if anyone is going to Dartford 4x4 Pay&Play site today?

Think it is fairly new and they are open all the weekend, every weekend!

Anyone know if it's any good?

Bit far away for me, but the location is a good one. Not much going on in the South East.. Not THAT far from Robbo (East Sussex) though...

Let us know what it's like and don't forget pics...

Just got back from Dartford. I was the only driver there, had it all to myself!

The bloke in charge says it's only been there 4 weeks so fairly new.

It's flat terrain but there are holes and mounds to tackle and a very big muddy hole if you fancey a challenge.
There is a woodland area also which can get a bit narrow.

Would be good for a first timer and those wanting a bit of a challenge, if your local then have a go, if your a long way off it proberbly isn't worth the trip.

No pics as I went by myself.

Good fun day out and the organiser is a very friendly chap.

Embarassed yuh huh.

Didn't get stuck once! First time out in it the Trooper off road, is very capable! Shame that tow bar acts as an anchor!
Will take my Rangie next time though.

All I have on the Trooper is Kumho KL71 mud terrain tyres in std size (245/75-16)

Well I thought it was funny anyway. Towbar, yes. Mine is a kind of triangulated steel jobbie which first acts as a plough and then an anchor. It's a pain in the butt especially if you have a LWB. Knowing my luck, the day I take it off is the day I'll most need it!

I think the answer to the off-road conumdrum, is to have one of they thingies that you can detach the arm and ball. The posh motors like Mercs BMW's and Kia's have them (I'm kidding right?) about the BMW's I mean....  Laughing but I've also heard that they are quite weak too.

Glad the Troop was OK - they usually are...
