hello again ,roof rails on a 3.0 lwb will fit my 96 lwb yeh ?is there much in taking them off ? are they bolted to the holes already there is it just a case of pop out plastic cover to get at bolts ?

The roof rails will fit yes they bolt into existing fixing holes which are under the roof trim which will require cutting to fit after fitting the roof rails. I would recommend using some sealer around the bolts after fitting to stop any water ingress, and I would also add that although the fixing holes are already there it is a pig of a job to get the roof rails bolted on tightly. Undo the bolt just infront of the front and rear feet.

On inner edge of rail there is a plastic cap - pop this out and then you will need a ball hex allen key I think it was 5mm - This will go into a hidden bolt in the front and rear feet. Loosening this off will release the wire clamp that holds the rails to the feet. Then you can un bolt the feet
