hello again ,roof rails on a 3.0 lwb will fit my 96 lwb yeh ?is there much in taking them off ? are they bolted to the holes already there is it just a case of pop out plastic cover to get at bolts ?

The roof rails will fit yes they bolt into existing fixing holes which are under the roof trim which will require cutting to fit after fitting the roof rails. I would recommend using some sealer around the bolts after fitting to stop any water ingress, and I would also add that although the fixing holes are already there it is a pig of a job to get the roof rails bolted on tightly. Yes they will fit

Undo the bolt just infront of the front and rear feet.

On inner edge of rail there is a plastic cap - pop this out and then you will need a ball hex allen key I think it was 5mm - This will go into a hidden bolt in the front and rear feet.  Loosening this off will release the wire clamp that holds the rails to the feet.  Then you can un bolt the feet
