wel we set of on sunday for a day green laneing to whitby, somewhere on the north york moors! we met up at half 8, 3 defenders a discovery and a fourtrak and my isuzu trooper,we set of and a 90 broke down with a leaky radiator Rolling Eyes so we waited till he filled it with radwelled of we went, then half hour up the moterway a second 90 broke down wheel bearing on this one Rolling Eyes we fixed that and set of again, went to whitby for our dinner then of to the green lanes just up the road,it whas some rough going on them tracks, but my trooper did well through the rutty traks etc i got stuck twice due to my crossmember getting hooked on the ruts Shocked must say though it did go through better than the fourtrak,a 90 pulled me out and he said do you want to keep the rope on has it gets muddier up here :lol:no i said your fine lol i did it pretty easily with the 90 lads very suprised i got through Laughing anyway all in a it whas a good day out and a good test for the trooper,i would like to go green laneing closer to home though has i know there is some round my way!just to add al the landrovers apart from one broke something Rolling Eyes i just need a ittle lift and i know i could have got through just has good in my trooper!cheers sime

They should know better then Evil or Very Mad

You have to stick to the lane and not go off it to play in the mud, that moorland that has been damaged by people driving illegally off the road. Lanes are being closed because of this kind of thing all the time. The advice is to report with reg numbers to the police if you see someone doing it!

Now you know Wink

If you wanna play in the mud go to a pay and play site. If your out with the group again they need telling to stay on the lane.
