Just changed the air filter in our 3.0 and I'm wondering if the old one is a K&N and can be reused....

Its got a black rubber top and bottom, the filter material is a pinky red colour and it has perforated mesh on both the inside and outside. There's no markings on it that I can find.

Is this a proper K&N filter or a copy?

That style of thing but with mesh on the inside and outside. trying to post pics ATM...

I've got a feeling K&N dont do mesh but i may stand corrected, if you do a search on eebuygum for trooper 3.0 air filter i think you'll see yours at about a tenner, K&N's are about £50. As i say i'm not 100% so dont bin it on my account Wink

Ah yes... looks like this one but quite a bit dirtier

just looked so different from the PartCo one that I wondered B4 I tossed it in the bin....
