Had a run out with Gary as per his post a while back and all was going well until we bumped into the AA and a rather unhappy woman whose satnav had taken her down a lane which as gary will confirm would have been a fair one to go up in the troopers let alone down in  a vx corsa !

Being the perfect gent Gary went to her rescue along with me !

The AA man is probably still thinking its a dream .

Would have been a few more pics but I was busy driving (not getting stuck ) so as not to let southern shandies off road inc down . Smile

Having a warm up before meeting Gary .

Gary adjusts his snorkle on the bank .

Winching the car back using a snatch block and Garys waffle boards. It drove away fine later .

I enjoyed myself and got loads of tips of Gary who is welcome back anytime . Smile

Nice work lads.

Does beg the question again as to how can people listen to their satnavs so much and rely on them that would lead them to that kind of predicament. No common sense, and I do start to question there judgement as to wether they should be allowed on the road.

It was a great eve out, I will be back to have a go at some more of these lanes  Very Happy Cheers for organising the route had a good laugh. The corsa being there made for a bit of extra fun  Laughing  impressed she got so far though that was one rutted lane!!

makes me wonder if a corsa can be lifted and have a set of 33's dumped on ... then again just mount the body on a SJ chassis Very Happy

Bit like they did with this Ka, IIRC it is on a daihatsu chassis.

If you'd of seen this lane you'd be impressed how far she got!!!!! we got it out with minor scratches and a few scrapes to the underside!
I really enjoyed the eve out and advise anyone to go out laning round here, i will say don't do it in a standard truck or a shiny, some of these are modded only lanes as they're deeply rutted and have some interesting side slopes  Very Happy  i'll be back  Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil
Cheers again Simon  Very Happy  Very Happy
