Id be happy to show you round, there's plenty of places to get stuck and some good spots for winching, just got to watch out for trees as its quite densely wooded land and it can be easy to slide into them on the tighter trails, i know  Embarassed

Does anyone know if we'll have 'access all areas' ?

Sid73(jase) went over yesterday, this is what he has posted on POCUK.

CAMPING/CARAVAN

we will be using the field on the left of the drive down to the entry site. It has a water supply on the second telegraph poll. This field is on a slope in places but near the telegraph poll with the water supply is flat, enough room for load os us there Wink

TOILETS

will be placed in the same area as in Marks diagram

OFFROADING

We are allowed to use any part of the route BUT we must have sufficient recovery aids before we attempt the black route ie; trucks with winches and straps to tow stranded trucks out.  Yesterday it was very, very muddy and heavily modified 90s were getting stuck Twisted Evil

The postcode BD4 oRR takes you straight to Tong Wink

Mik i nipped up to see Rebecca yesterday and we have access on one condition ie; we have sufficient recovery aids. We must have trucks with winches and straps that are able to recover any stranded vehicles Wink  Makes sense really Wink

We have a dozen members of northern monkeys popping along and I know most of them have winches etc.  Wink

I carry duct tape and tie wraps with a small tool box incase of minor mishaps, I've used duct tape for minor medical emergencys before too lol
