Hi all,
Anybody know how I remove the front bonnet guard off my Trooper which I damaged the other day?
I've got as far as removing the side brackets but am not sure how to take off the two centre nuts under the bonnet.
There are two round plastic fixings, each with a small posidrive nut in the centre, which I thought would just undo and the whole thing come away. However, when I turn them the whole fixing itself just turns round and round.
Do I clamp the outer plastic fixing and turn the screw, or is the whole fixing designed to snap out from the underside of the bonnet like the fixing for interior door trims?
As the unit is broken on the one side anyway, it doesn't matter if I damage any more of the guard itself but I don't wish to do anything that will compromise the remaining bodywork.
Any ideas, as usual, will be much appreciated.
Stu
